Who we are
Brit Pop was founded by Josh Dell in 2025 during his wine studies at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. It was initially envisioned as an English Wine bar in Paris (an idea described as the “best worst idea in history”) before taking its current shape.
Josh has extensive experience in events, having established the events division at DeHavilland (part of the Helio Intelligence group) before going on to lead events for the entire group.
Josh is also an established editor and writer, having overseen editorial at DeHavilland and written on food and wine for publications such as WIRED UK, Decanter, The Fence, Vittles, Vice and Wicked Leeks.
how it works
Brit Pop runs pop-up events across the world, which provide a space for British winemakers to dynamically engage with target export markets, and British chefs to flex.
Every event includes a combination of 1+ public-facing dinners and a lunch focused on the wine trade.
We handle all event logistics and provide support and advice for winemakers on getting their wines over.
Through our partnership with the Department for Business and Trade, we can also provide additional support with navigating export logistics and working with a distributor in the relevant target market.
